Indonesian industrial park developer Suryacipta Swadaya issued a statement on April 30 saying that BYD has selected the industrial park "Subang Smartpolish" as a site for an electric vehicle factory. The factory covers an area of more than 108 hectares, making BYD the largest tenant in the park.
The statement said that BYD plans to build a comprehensive system in the "Subang Smart City"jackpotgameThe electric vehicle ecosystem includes a research and development center and training facilities equipped with the latest energy-saving and environmental protection technologies. Suryacipta Swadaya said the land transfer will take place in August this year. BYD plans to build in stages and is expected to be put into operation in January 2026.
